Steve West
Treasurer and Chair of the Resources Committee
Steve is a Board member, and Chair of the Resources Committee of Ormiston Families, having worked with the charity for nearly eight years.
Steve is a graduate Chartered Accountant, qualifying with a large London firm in the early 1980s. He took his first finance director (FD) role in 1988 and has assumed various FD jobs of increasing size and complexity, across the UK, until taking early retirement in 2015. For over 15 years he has volunteered with a number of children’s charities, including schools and universities, in East Anglia and London.
Originally from central London, Steve lives in Ely, Cambridgeshire, with his wife of 40 years. They have two adult children and three grand children – who keep them very busy.
